A seperate window with a list of upcoming events

Hi,

The scheduler can show which events are coming up, but what happens if you create many groups with events, and they are all collapesd ?
the events would be hidden, and users can't see what are the upcoming events.

Some events may be scheduled to run from different groups that users create, so you are not always sure which event is coming up next (except for a short few seconds warnings in the 'coming up next' window)

But what if one would like to see a clear window with ONLY upcoming events for the next, let's say 30 min, 1 hour of even the next 24 hours - in a clear, chronological order ?

Regards,
Amit

You should decide if you need them collapsed or visible. Another option, is to add a second scheduled events list (e.g. in a work zone), with groups disabled, and sorted by "Run In" column, there you will see what events are about to start.

Using a separate list (see above) will allow to accomplish it.

Thanks.

I found out that putting events in groups (eg. days of the week, events per programs, events that run everyday or on spesific days only) does not fully solve the issue if you press the "Run In" Colum.
It will show me the coming up events per group, so i still have to scroll down to the bottom of the list, to different groups to find out which events are coming next. It only shows me the upcoming events per the group I am looking at.

If i take all the events out of a group, then yes - i will see all the upcoming events in order.
I am finding that creating groups is a better way to sort out my events - in my case - events that are scheduled to run during praticular days of the week, or events that run everyday.

Amit

Any scheduled events list has the ability to hide groups, that is your events will still be in groups, as assigned, but you can have a secondary events list with no groups displayed and sorted by Run In (or any other column). To disable groups display, click List button and uncheck the "Show groups" option.

I have found that it is hard to isolate advertisements in the scheduler because new events are constantly being created for them. How possible would it be to create a default collapseable group for scheduled advertisements which is separate from other events?
