access violated on event creation

Hi, I was adding audio to the event I was creating for Christmas, and when I tapped the + button to add audio, RadioBOSS crashed and didn't restart automatically.
After doing it manually, this red warning appeared.
What could it be?
I'm using the latest version and haven't received a bug report to submit.

How do I send logs?

Thanks, I'm waiting for your feedback.

The crash in windows.starage.dll - looks like it's OneDrive or something similar that crashed. If it was one-off error, I think it should be ignored. If it happens often, please click Help-Contact Support-Send bug reports, we'll check what's wrong there.

This is odd, as the log (red line) indicates that the bug report was saved.
I know, I've always thought the same thing. But believe me: as soon as it crashed, I reopened it and the first thing I did was check for bugs to report. But nothing, it's empty. Where can I find logs or other types of files for you to analyze? I can't add anything else to my problem.

Another thing: why doesn't the RadioBOSS restart automatically? I enabled the appropriate option in the settings. Imagine if no one had been at the PC... would the radio have remained muted?

Hi, I know this isn't the right place, but speaking of bugs, I just discovered that if I try to open Playlist Generator Pro from the desktop (I created the shortcut) and don't launch it from within RadioBOSS, it doesn't start, it tries to open, and then closes.
Music Library, however, works and opens correctly.

If there's no bugreport, I'm afraid there's nothing else that would help us investigate this.

With this option enabled, it will restart on fatal error (the Access Violation error you get is one of those). I just did a quick test on the latest version, and it does restart on such errors.
In your case, maybe it was so severe, it was unable to create a bug report even. But it still should restart, as watchdog will detect it's crashed.

If you have user accounts enabled then the Playlist Generator can only be started from withing RadioBOSS.

I waited about 30 seconds and it didn't.
I manually started RadioBOSS after the fatal crash.
If this happens again, please write here, so we can investigate it.

Yes, it is, even with limited permissions.
And why is this possible with Music Library and not with Playlist Generator?
I'm not sure why it's like this, honestly. Do you have a need to run the Playlist Generator separately?

Not necessarily, but to avoid using the desktop with RadioBOSS visible, and to unlock the user.
I created direct Music Library connections to manage only the music; I don't want to touch the live stream.
So sometimes I'd like to interact with just the Playlist Generator.
So I don't think it's necessary to have RadioBOSS open in the background.
I hope you understand.

This will be tweaked and direct Playlist Generator launch will only be prevented if one or more users do not have "Playlist Generator" permission.

Yes, I think so, they share the same code in this regard.
I've got an idea: I agree with placing restrictions on RadioBOSS and preventing access and launching MusicLibrary and PlaylistGeneratorPro if there's at least one user with restriction, and therefore, an "admin" account with username and password is needed to unlock it. But why can't you put password controls on individual software? For example, if I only want to use MusicLibrary, I'll enter its username and password, and RadioBOSS will remain blocked. Do you understand what I mean? The same goes for reports, advertisements, and other accessories external to radioboss.exe.

For example, if I have multiple monitors on my desktop, I want to open only MusicLibrary for convenience. And then another day, only PlaylistGenerator. Simply because I need them, and I don't want to risk touching RadioBOSSS while it's playing with my mouse. And as a result, I don't want to unlock and interact with RadioBOSS.

With Users approach, it's more centralized. Having separate password/user management for each module seems excessive.

I'm not sure maybe just keep the Music Library and other modules you need always open?
