DTMF Tone detector

Am I correct in my audio test that the DTMF detector only looks at the "LEFT" channel for tones?  I had an issue where I lost my left channel audio coming from satellite and from that point on, the DTMF detector quit working.  It started working again once I got audio going to the left channel.  The Right audio was fine, except for no DTMF detecting.

Yes, you're correct - it only checks the left channel.
