How to Play a fixed length music bed under varying length rotated VoiceOver???

My network gives me a :15sec window for a station ID.  I have several ID's that vary in length 05 to :10).  The :15 sec window is triggered by a DTMF tone.  I would like to have the DTMF trigger the :15sec music bed and then randomly overlay one of the ID's during that :15sec window.  Ideas???

I've seen in "FileType" settings where you can set a particular filetype to play a bed when it plays, but it cuts the bed off if the bed is longer than the particular filetype.

but Michael u can use ira silence detector free as an alternative to monitor the output and email u and many others tasks when ure sound fail

The file type "bed" feature seems like what you need. Please give more information on what you want to achieve? If you want to play the bed in full length, you can exchange roles: make a bed itself as a File Type, for which you assign station ID as a bed.

The file type "bed" feature seems like what you need. Please give more information on what you want to achieve? If you want to play the bed in full length, you can exchange roles: make a bed itself as a File Type, for which you assign station ID as a bed.

I'll try and reword what I am trying to achieve.  The network gives an optional :15sec window each hour.  If I use that :15sec window I must use all :15secs.  I want to play the same :15sec music bed during that time each hour.  Now while that :15sec music bed is playing, I want to overlay a legal ID.  I know I can do that using the FileType method you mentioned, but the same legal ID will play each hour.  I would like RB to randomly choose a file from a folder and overlay that audio.  The bottom line is that I need to fill the entire :15 window.

I hope that explains what I'm trying to achieve better.

RadioBOSS can't do that currently... Probably the solution would be to prepare those 15 second IDs with beds in audio editor.
