"insert stop command" and ads

I often use the “insert stop command” - meaning that after a song finishes, playback stops so I can say a few words about the previous or next track, or share some quick info before hitting Next.

That part works perfectly: the playback stops at the end of the song, and I start talking on air.
The issue is that the stop command doesn’t apply to ads, so sometimes when I’m not paying attention, an ad suddenly cuts in while I’m talking on air.

It would be great if the stop command also affected ads - in other words, when a stop is triggered, the ads should just wait in queue and only start playing after I press Next.
That would sound much more professional - I finish talking, hit Next, and the ad block starts playing. E.g. if the ads caught me by surprise, they wouldn’t interrupt me - I’d see them loading on the screen, and I could always say: “And now, a short commercial break before we get back to the music!” 🙂

When I think about it, it would actually be great if, whenever the insert stop command is triggered, anything that’s scheduled to play at a specific time wouldn’t interrupt the stop - instead, it should just go into the queue.

There should be a button that says "Do not activate when the playlist is stopped or the MIC button is on."
I don't remember where it is, but it's somewhere in RadioBOSS.
Await confirmation from the staff.

There's a similar option in the settings, but for when you press the MIC button.
I think it queues everything up, and then a simple NEXT plays everything that's accumulated.

On my radio, I created a 20-minute blank WAV file (like -200 dB) so I don't completely stop the control room. I set the music fader to 0 dB, so whenever I want, I can just press NEXT and everything will sound fine.
Otherwise, use RadioBOSS's "pause time" function, and it will sound the same.
Using the STOP command destroys the mix point of the songs, which I absolutely don't want to happen.

In Ads settings, there is this option, but it doesn’t affect the "insert stop command."
