Good morning everyone, I would like to know if there is a way to insert an EBU R128 loudness limiter/leveller on the main output of Radioboss, covering the full mix (music + mic). Thank you in advance and best regards.

Good morning, thank you for your reply, but perhaps I didn’t make myself clear.

After several years of intensive use of RadioBOSS, I am obviously well aware that individual audio tracks can be normalized. However, that is unrelated to my request. I believe that in today’s broadcasting environment, it is absolutely essential to have an EBU R128 compliant limiter/leveller on the master output (the final mixed signal).

While there are several high-quality external software processors available, RadioBOSS does not seem to provide a dedicated INSERT point on the final master bus. In my humble opinion, adding this feature would be extremely useful, if not indispensable, for professional loudness management.

Thank you and best regards.

We'll consider adding this in the future, maybe as an option for the AutoAmp feature that already exists, but make it use EBU R128.

Thank you for your reply. In my humble opinion, I still believe it would be highly desirable to have the capability to use inserts on the master output bus for external software—ideally with the option to select its position in the chain—alongside AutoAmp.

Regarding this, where exactly is AutoAmp located within the output signal chain?

Thank you for all the valuable information. Once again, kind regards.
