Microphone help using vb cable and voicemeeter

hi all I'm using a yeti usb mic and wanted to make my voice sound better using  vb cable and voicemeeter I have set it up but when I play my recording back my voice is wobbly fading in and out quickly. Can anyone tell me what I could be doing wrong? cheers in advance

I think you should consult Voicemeeter developers about this.

Generally speaking, check if there are any DSPs enabled in Voicemeeter e.g. poorly configured AGC that can result in volume going in and out.
