Nerd stuff - Make RadioBOSS & Skype working under Linux

Hi quys,

I recently moved to Linux (Xubuntu 15.04), but have Windows seperately installed, only for braodcasting.
For more rerasons I considering to leave Windows behind me.

So that's why I started an experiment. I installed RadioBOSS 5.3.3.1 (updates expired^^) throught Wine on Xubuntu in Trial Mode - to have the option moving my license to it later.

Yes, RadioBOSS is a program for the Windows platform. But I don't care - gave it a try on Linux.

So: Yes, RadioBOSS works fine in general on Xubuntu. I can add/play music and broadcast.

But there's another thing, i'd like to integrate: Skype. (Or another VoIP tool)
Under Windows I made it how explained by pety here.
But Voicemeeter isn't an option on Linux.

Are there other experts who can show me how I can do that?
I know about Jack with QJackCtl as GUI. But how to make it work properly with Skype & RadioBOSS...

Maybe there are other methods how to do this.

Thank you for ideas / tutorials.

I think you should look for something like virtual audio card for Wine - this is what Voicemeeter is doing on Windows.

Hi Dmitry,

yes, I will look around for a solution. Will give feedback.
For the moment I created a virtual machine on my Linux with Windows in it. A Workspace only for my lovely RadioBOSS. :)
