Server

Is there anyway that RB can have its own built in server. Meaning having an option where you don't have to setup a shoutcast server to pull music from another machine that's running RB

You're not hte first one asking about it. :)
The server is almost ready and will be added to RB very soon.

You can try it in a RadioBOSS 4.7.3 pre-release version:
http://dl.djsoft.net/radioboss_setup_4.7.3.0.exe :)

To use it:
open Settings->Broadcast, add new encoder, click "Setup Wizard", select the "Integrated server" option, then select a port on which server will operate.

To listen a stream:
http://you-pc-address:port/

Note that server doesn't support titles.

The built in server works perfect so far still running it right now. However for the first four options do i still need to have the application for those installed on the machine for it to work?

You have to install (or use 3rd party) server for Shoutcast v1, v2, Icecast and Windows Media Server in PUSH mode.
Windows Media Server in PULL mode doesn't require a server - usage is similar to RadioBOSS's internal server, except that encoder is limited to WMA only and it handles 50 listeners at most.
