Unscheduled events

Hi everyone. We are having major issues with scheduling. Effectively, we have an ad block scheduled to drop every 30 minutes, top and bottom of hour. Randomly, the system is dropping an unscheduled ad block not at those times, and after it plays through, it remains in the playlist. So, for example, this morning, at 6:55am, an ad block dropped into the playlist, even though it wasn't scheduled until 7am. After it played through, it remained, and the next song started. Then at 7am, the scheduled ad block dropped in, which meant the playlist had 2 x ad blocks listed, and only the scheduled one deleted after playing. I have had numerous chats with "support", however feel we are getting nowhere as no solution has been identified. Anyone else experiencing this?

Please check the Logs section to see what happened around the time the "unscheduled" event started playing/was inserted. We have seen couple of support tickets about that, but the problem was not confirmed and the cause was a misconfiguration.

Hello - this issue is still happening. Any word on next update? Hopefully this fixes the issue as it has become extremely frustrating.

Does your station always run in automated (unattended) mode, or there is a person who may manually start different tracks/modify the playlist? This can cause an event to be "repeated" if one of the tracks from the event was skipped, it will not be removed from the playlist, and will play again when the playlist is repeated.

Always in automated mode. I am the only operator who controls the system and do not adjust the playlist.

Thank you for the information. When this happens again, can you please log in to the control panel and make a screenshot of the playlist window in the Overview section (where the unwanted event is visible)?

I’ll do my best as it doesn’t always happen when I’m monitoring the studio. When it does I’ll grab a screenshot. This is Cloud version, so do you mean the log when you say control panel? Thanks

Ok, so it's happened again this morning at 9:13am. I have attached the screenshots which show:

1. the unscheduled BOH block dropping into the playlist 9:13am (next time it should drop is scheduled time 9:30am)
2. the log displaying when it was inserted
3. the unscheduled block remaining in the playlist after it finishes and song commences.

As you can see, this happens at random times, and demonstrates scheduled blocks dropping into the playlist without warning, and at unscheduled times. Then, that unscheduled block simply stays in the playlist, meaning it will play again, and again, as the playlist loops.
