You may remember a couple of years ago we found that the gap killer was occasionally clipping off the beginnings and endings of VBR MP3s in on-air playback. I'm finding something similar happening in the Segue Editor -- a track will end abruptly, or start in the middle of the first few notes. Obviously it's hard to create a segue with that happening!
It's possible that the VBR issue is also involved in the Segue Editor problem I reported earlier:

where the second track starts sooner than where it was saved in the Segue Editor.
