RadioBOSS 6.0 [beta]

I did it and my titles are still black, I don't understand why yours look yellow.
The developer will tell you if it is a bug or not.
The color of the column headers depends on the style (UI elements) selected in RadioBOSS Settings - View - Style. If Windows style is used, it will use the color used by Windows itself.

From a secondary pc, where the source files (playlist) are in a network location, it doesn't work.
Can you please send a command that uses the network playlist? Does it use \\Server\Location syntax or it's a network mounted drive?

I have been using the newest version for a little over a hr now it is still not showing album covers.
This only happens for OGG files, currently this is a "known issue" and it will be addressed in one of the future updates.

You can significantly improve things if you move the database server (if it's possible) to the same computer where RadioBOSS is installed, this will remove all the latency. How large (the number of tracks) is your database?
Doesn't that defeat the purpose of using MySQL... for multiple computers? We would use SQLite if it was just one computer. We used to sync the databases with the XML files being copied from a master PC to the studio PCs.

We have over 80,000 tracks. An initial database index on application startup sounds like it would help a lot with the subsequent search speed. Maybe just for MySQL database setups? Our network is gigabit link, 1ms ping delay between the hosts (all wired via ethernet) so while there is latency with the network involved, it should just be because of operational traffic between the systems. I don't mind if this is a toggle option in advanced config

It depends on the configuration. The database should be closer to where its performance is most critical - in most cases, it's the On Air PC. This still allows to manage music from other computers - this is where MySQL comes to use. 1Gbps link is still orders of magnitude slower compared to a local database.

Indexing on startup is not a good idea IMO. Delaying startup can be utterly annoying especially if you need to start it right away because there's silence on air. I think we can get rid of indexing when using the "All" option, will happen in this release or in the future 6.0.2.

It is a network mounted drive.
Example of the route:

Code:
makelibrary Exitos|"R:\Listas Radio\Listas De Reproduccion\Varios\Alta.m3u8"|"R:\Listas Radio\Listas De Reproduccion\Varios\Baja.m3u8"|"R:\Listas Radio\Listas De Reproduccion\Varios\Nuevos Sonidos.m3u8"|"R:\Listas Radio\Listas De Reproduccion\Varios\Segmentos\Destacado De La Semana.m3u8"|"R:\Listas Radio\Listas De Reproduccion\Varios\Categorias\Recurrente.m3u8"

Bug report submitted about a temp file locking up when the database is being updated, and when trying to use the RadioBOSS library

if you only use broadcast title in the playlist, the comments are not displayed in the Playlist.
Comments are only visible under Track Title
Usually you will either use Broadcast Title or Track Titler but not both
At least that's how I do it

Have you previously made a backup of your settings from previous version and then restore it from v.6? / Hai già fatto un backup delle tue impostazioni dalla versione precedente e poi ripristinato dalla v.6?

Please use English to answer.
I did exactly what you wrote but nothing to do, the writings always remain in yellow of the columns in the Player

It is a network mounted drive.

The command seems fine. You can try removing the quotes to see if it helps. In the next update, RadioBOSS will log any errors if a source playlist can't be loaded.

How would the application respond without indexing the "All" option? We'll set up a MySQL cluster if we need to
It should work faster and with no delays, please wait for the next update to see how it works.

If you update the library and trying to use it at the same time, you can get locking errors. I'd recommend scheduling library updates when it's not busy e.g. at 3AM.

Sounds reasonable, the comment will also be shown in Broadcasting Title column.

Please wait for the next update, it will be fixed there.

Also tested on another PC. Yes, it occurs frequently. And I noticed that it happens specifically when "Scheduled events" are recently added to the playlist.
- The "Settings" tab, when clicked, flashes, adds the information and is sometimes completely clean and it also occurs to close itself, making it impossible to click on any option. The "i" indicator for the number of tracks and the playing time of the file below the playlist is also flashing strangely.

This problem still persists in version 6.0.1.5. I think it is one of the few things to fix before releasing the final version.

An Suggest. Posibility to store The SQlite to an specify folder or diffrent sqlite databases for different profiles or differefent instances of radioboss.

Thank you for the suggestion. This will be implemented in one of the future updates (e.g. RadioBOSS 6.0.2).

Mismo problema

In my case the same thing happens since the beginning of the version 6 tests. I reported it by mail with a video of the error.
