RadioBOSS 7.2 [beta]

Thank you for adding Manual Mode, Disable Auto Intro, and the shortcut.
At least two or three times a day while I'm speaking live on air, an auto intro or a commercial would start unexpectedly. With the shortcut A, this is now solved and it removes a big problem for me.
I'm glad those new features are useful!

But where did the checkbox for Manual Mode go?
It's where it has always been. Please check if you have disabled it from Settings > Control.

There seems to be a 3,4-pixel discrepancy (excess/deficit) on the right side, which creates an asymmetrical design.

In the Hotkeys section, the 'All' (translated as 'Tümü') label does not fit within its designated space. The UI element needs to be slightly widened to accommodate translated text properly.

Dayparting should work in the Ad Scheduler when the “Use Sweepers” option is enabled. This would allow you to choose the specific time period when the sweepers should apply. It would be a useful feature if you want to play different sweepers depending on the day or time of day.

Actually it's the opposite, the last played and played history is stored per-track and generating a playlist just uses this information for repeat protection.

It works like this, if you set e.g. "Do not repeat artist X minutes" it will work regardless when and why track by this artist had played before (manually added to the playlist, added from this or another preset, other ways) - the repeat protection checks what had actually played and when. The repeat protection times are set per-preset, and per-category when needed (e.g. you may want to allow hot rotation tracks to play more often than usual music).
Hi, and thank you for the clarification. I’ve now become a user of RadioBOSS at our local radio station here in Toten in Norway. Next week we’re making the switch and will start running the system fully on air. So far the system has been very user-friendly, and it also seems like the developers are genuinely interested in listening to what users want and need. That’s something I really value.

Hi Dmitry,

I recently updated the PC that acts as the FTP server for the cover images to Windows 11. It’s running IIS.

Since the update, RB is showing the following error:
“FTP error: No FTP list parsers have been registered.”

The same setup was working perfectly before with IIS on Windows 10, and I haven’t changed anything in the RB configuration.

Do you have any idea what might be causing this or what I should check?

Drawing of the menus is handled by the theme, looks like it's designed this way.

Will be fixed.

Yes, thank you, the next version will do that. Probably for intro/outro as well.

Thank you for using RadioBOSS! If you run the beta version in production, please take additional care as it may still contain errors.

Hi Dmitry,

This option could be better if we able to set for example do not play tracks at the same time as the 3 precedents days, and after that we select the range example 1h or 2h. Because I detected that often the playing recurrence on the same time is not exactly the day before but in the 2,3 4 days before.

Thank you

This is expected as the logs show that it terminated earlier due to an error, before the required duration was generated.
Yes, the error is the "Start Time." It's not being taken into account.

The tracks are played between 5:50 PM and 6:20 PM.
They are allowed to be selected 60 minutes after their last playback.
Start time of the generated new playlist: 11:30 PM
The tracks don't appear in the new playlist even though they are allowed.

And see the rest of my previous message with two other comparative tests: the result reveals a problem (no error in the log).

The error/problem is the same: the "Start Time" is not being taken into account. It is, however, specified in the command.
Playlist Generator only generates the new playlist if it will be played after the last track on the player.
Can you enable or correct the inclusion of the Start Time?

The "Start Day" function is working correctly.

-----------//-----------

run "PlaylistGeneratorPro.exe" > run PlaylistGeneratorPro.exe

The quotation marks are always present in the command name for events created from "Generate Multiple Playlist" (version 7.2.0.5). These quotation marks prevent the player's Tracks from being taken into account.

Can you modify the generic line?

-----------//-----------

Music Library > Tools > Settings > "Highlight tracks with an empty tag" (checkbox selected)

There is no highlighting when the music file has no tags. I don't know if this is a bug or if I've misinterpreted this function: when is the highlighting activated?

-----------//-----------

Translation

Translation of "Main Zoom"
Settings > Style

Translation of "Ad Breaks" and the alert message "Please select one ad in the list"
Ads Scheduler > Screen Preview > The Selection
Yes I think that would be possible.
Thanks

I'm not sure about this... Do listeners care if a track played at the same time 4 days ago? 2-3-4 days is a lot of time; the most requested feature was to prevent repeating on the same time as the day before.

The volume icon in the bottom bar keeps flickering or flashing randomly. It appears for a split second and then vanishes.

What do you do to make it flicker? By the way there are links at the bottom of your message, is this intentional? We've seen some forum accounts being hacked and spam messages being posted.

Please check the logs when the playlist is generated. The log shows if start time was taken into account or not, and what start time value is used.

run "PlaylistGeneratorPro.exe" > run PlaylistGeneratorPro.exe

The next update will ignore the presence of the quotes.

Tracks with no tags are highlighted with grey font (as opposed to the default font color which is black or white based on theme).

I have attached a link to a video demonstrating a UI issue, along with a download link for the file.

A sound icon momentarily appears and disappears in the empty space of the bottom audio bar. I am not sure what triggered this behavior; the only recent change I made was disabling the monitor sound card.

This flickering happens at inconsistent intervals—sometimes frequently, sometimes less often—but it is constantly occurring. Please see the video for a clear view of the glitch.
