We have a lot of oldies that like pressing random keys on the keyboard and they accidentally managed to delete some files from disk. Any chance we can have an option to disable this?
For now we've disabled delete permission within the windows folder permissions.

Hot key to delete files from the disk is Ctrl+Shift+Del - I don't think it can be pressed accidentally. I don't think there's a reason to disable it in RadioBOSS or add it as an option, in this case a reliable solution is as you did, configure folder permissions to prevent any modifications.
The menu hot keys are hard-coded and not configurable at this point. And it's still not a solution if users have malicious intent (pressing Ctrl+Shift+Del can't be accidental so they do it on purpose; if hot key is disabled they can still call this command directly from the menu Playlist/Extra/Delete from disk).
