Audio delay on Monitor output

Hi, I use an Audient ID4 MKII sound card
and use "Monitor Audio" with ASIO drivers on RadioBOSS to listen to the broadcast.
I keep it muted 99% of the time. Sometimes, when I want to hear how the radio is doing, I notice a 3-4 second delay, from what I see/hear.
As if a buffer were building up over time.
I tried disabling the output and resetting it in the settings, and the delay resets—temporarily.
Because then, after a few hours/days, it always comes back.

Regardless if the stream is muted or not, it's still "playing". In your case, it looks like the delay is building up over time for some reason. RadioBOSS does not internally buffer this data, so this may happen at device level. One thing to try is to use a different sample rate, e.g. if it's set to 44100 set to 48000.
