I have somehow ruined the input settings when I voice over a track, I cannot seem to get a good balance between my voice being slightly louder than the track playing in the back ground, I played with the input settings which are set below but still no good. can someone tell me what the defaults are , or am I on a wrong
place for this

fade out = 0.6 and fade in 0.5

The Problem was that if you install DSP SA stereo Tool 7.84 some reason it kills the mix between voice and mic. it cuts the music but allows mic, once I had switched off SA Tool the mix worked perfectly,if there is a cure to run both please let us know.

You need to tune the "Music Level" slider in the Inputs->MIC settings - the default value IIRC is -15dB. There's also a setting called Mic Amplifier - set it to 0dB and then increase if the MIC is not loud enough.

Ok worked out the problem, the damm sa tool some reason overrides the mix between the Mic and music playing, I switched it off and its works fine, if someone can figure it out be my guest
