cannot broadcast - error 1

using voscast server for shoutcast. do I still use winamp in conjunction? password is correct.. totally lost have gone thru all the references but am missing something obviously. am getting an error message also if i check winamp dsp plugin but have the latest version. thank you

Please try updating to the latest RadioBOSS version: http://dl.djsoft.net/radioboss_demo.exe
It should connect to the server without any problem.

Check your computer for viruses. Also try installing it to a different location.

What operating system are you using? Software works on Windows XP SP2, Vista, 7, 8, Server 2003, 2008.

the program wont even open

This usually happens because of viruses or system misconfiguration (eg. some services are turned off).

Now it opens and you get the error while starting broadcasting, and is it the latest version?

When you open version 4.7.7.1, is there any error message?
That's really odd... And I don't think it's a software issue - most likely it's something wrong on your PC. Did you run any kind of "PC optimization" programs or something like this, or maybe there was a virus you removed in the past?

There should be an error message details in the error message window - could you post them here? Without details it's hard to tell what could be wrong there.
Do you have another computer to try on?

got it downloaded to another computer but still saying the same as previous

You can try sending server connection details to support@djsoft.net to test it here and find what's wrong with it.

Also you can try broadcasting using http://www.radioboss.fm service (currently it's free).

I'm not sure what script do you need... I asked to try radioboss.fm service to try if the error still exists.

You don't need to use Winamp or any plugins tobroadcast with RadioBOSS...

You should check the password you're using.

the password was an easy check , so please provide some valid instruction on how to fix this. Provide me a way to contact you to see what the problem is . other folks are making this work , what is the problem here on 2 different computers and it wont even work with your system? thank you
