Delay in playback when using RB Live DJ

Hey guys - we have recently switched computers in the studio, and with that, re-downloaded RB 6.3.3.0. The only time we are not on RB Cloud is Friday 5:30am-9:30am for a live breakfast show, and we have found that when we are live and speaking on the mics, going to a song, there is a 3-sec delay when hitting the play button before the song starts! Never happened before and I have mirrored every setting from our previous back-up laptop before installing this new pc. No issues with fades etc when running on Cloud...just when "live". Any suggestions? Thanks.

There was always a delay, the exact amount depends on server's buffer size (controlled in Settings->Advanced) and also buffer size on the playback side.

No there was NEVER a delay previously!! A 3 second dead-air delay is an eternity in radio and this has only started happening since new download. Plus we have ongoing server issues out of Australia which “can’t” be fixed. Super frustrating!

Dead air delay, do you mean there's silence?

Yes. 3-4 seconds silence when play button is pressed with mics on

I think more details are needed. If you didn't have anything playing, then nothing is sent to the server, which means once you hit Play, it will first connect to the server and then start sending the data.
