How To Add Network Stream to File Type

How’s it possible to add a Network Stream to a file type in order to use it for crossfade and Customize title.

You need a file type for a specific URL? If so, you can input it to the Identifier field. If you need file type for all network streams, enter :// as instructed in the user manual.

Yes. You can test that it actually works if you assign a color to the file type and then when you add URL to the playlist, you should see it marked with this color. Also no other tracks need to be marked with this color (this happens with incorrect identifiers).
