Issues with Windows 8

Our trainer is still out in the field with radio stations in Thailand, and has another issue (he thanks you for the last solution, by the way  :)).

This station is having 2 problems since moving from Windows 7 to 8.

Photo attached - some filenames in Thai display correctly but others don't. They display correctly in Windows File Explorer. The settings in RB are on Thai script.

Using a USB device for pre-listen in W7 they had no problems. However in W8 the regular program sound card stops working and they have to go into settings to activate the card again.

Hope you have a solution for these issues.

Thanks so much.

Please send one of the files which is displayed incorrectly to support@djsoft.net, we'll test it. Also check if regional settings are set to Thai - if the tag is not written in Unicode, the system encoding is used to display the tag.

What error message is it when sound card stops working? Also, do you use the latest RB 5.2 or it's older version? If older, you can try the 5.2 release.
