Line in issue

We having a issue with RB for sometime with how the app starts. We have three feeds pushing out for RB, however before the feed starts to push. We would get a " not responding" at the very top of the window. Then it would just start after waiting for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Any ideas what would cause it.

You can try turning off some features to see what causes the startup delay:
- turn off all plugins (Winamp DSP, VST, Winamp General)
- turn off broadcasting
- check Playback settings

There is nothing in playback settings because I am not playing out through the sound card.
The only plugin that's on is VST, plus this was happening with no plugins turned on.
There are three broadcast feeds will check that out and let you know

The startup delay can happen when program scans for available VST plugins, even when no plugin is turned on. So you can try turning off the entire "VST plugins" option to see if this is the issue.

Ok we shut down the VST option and this seem to be resolve the line in start issue. What can be done to remedy that issue. When wanting to use the VST to enhance the sound.

You should reduce the number of plugins you have in the VST folder. The more plugins you have there - the more time required to scan the folder and read each plugin info.
The next version of RadioBOSS will read this info in the background, so startup speed will increase significantly.

Probably it's one plugin that is slow. You can try removing them one by one to see which one it is. Or just wait for the next RB version where plugin loading scheme will be changed to aviod startup delays.
