RadioBOSS 4.9 - Reinstall Procedure

Assuming that an installed and working version of RB 4.9 suddenly goes bad and plays up - what is the correct procedure to re-install it and preserve the existing config settings and scheduler events ?

This shouldn't happen at all. Do you have any problems and need to reinstall? If so, please provide with some details.

The easiest way is to use Settings backup and restore feature (available from the Settings menu): backup settings from the original installation and restore them on a new installation.

So, backup settings then run the exe file to install the software (without uninstalling it), then restore the settings ?

Did this to me with 6.3.3 All of a sudden some of my scheduled events no longer show a "RunTime" and there for will not run. All are enabled preexisting events. I can delete them and reinstall the event and NOPE, still no RUN TIME. The scheduler has same events/flies to play at different times.....only several of them have NO RUN TIMES. I have done all updates to WIN10, run chkdsk on both C and D drives and defragged. All ok. then did memory check and it was fine as well no issues. My other on line radio station, completely different, is NOW experiencing the same PROBLEM. Some files ON THIER OWN, no longer have Run Times. All are enabled and the files to play are legit and working at other times ???? Quite a cowinkydink for BOTH online stations to exhibit the same problem.... .??????????? HOW DO I REINSTALL RadioBoss 6.3.3 without losing all my scheduling ????

It means the event configuration is not correct, e.g. the event is expired, or week days are wrong or something else. Please post a screenshot of one of the event that doesn't run.

Reinstalling does not remove any settings, so you can reinstall it at any time without any side effects.
