Songs Automatically Playing

When I put songs in the playlist area, they automatically play? Is there anyway of stopping this?

Also, when I press the button for it to stop after the song playing, it stops for about 5 seconds, then the next song plays?

Any help would be highly appreciated! =]

Hello!

This happens because you have Silence Detector enabled. Disable it by double-clicking in the status bar (bottom of the player window) on "Silence detector: Enabled" box. Or, you can go to Settings->Preferences in the menu, then go to Silence Detector category and turn it off there.
