I recall in previous version of RB one was able in Track Tool to fade in and out with the red dot placements,
where has this feature gone too????

Nothing was removed from the Track Tool. Can you please provide more information on how it used to work?

I am sure at one one was able to place dots to fade in and out, as the mock photo shows.  maybe I was wrong

Currently the only possible curve in RadioBOSS is linear fade - so it's only two dots, start and end. In the future we will consider adding new curves (sine and log) but custom fading points, this is unlikely at the moment.
