Web browser in RadioBOSS

Web browser tab in RadioBOSS uses Edge as a rendering engine. Typically, no additional configuration is required and the web browser works out of the box.

If, for some reason, the browser doesn't work, please install WebView2 Runtime:

Use the "Evergreen Standalone Installer" option, select x86 or x64 - must be the same architecture as your RadioBOSS installation. You can check RadioBOSS architecture by clicking Help->About, if it says at the top "RadioBOSS a.b.c.d x64" then you have a 64-bit version, otherwise it's x86.

If you do the two steps listed in the first message, RadioBOSS will use Edge as browsing engine automatically.

It worked for me with "RadioBOSS_ChromeWebBrowser" but after clicking the above link, Edge automatically installed without asking location.

Honestly not working for me even after uninstalling explorer and re-installing edge.

From your screenshot it seems that it actually works. The web address you input is not valid. Try https://gmail.com instead. The web browser in RadioBOSS is very simple, it won't add ".com" to the addresses automatically like the normal web browsers do :)

Thanks, it worked but after entering my email address, an error message appeared, see screenshot attached.

Hello,

I've noticed that the WebView2 browser in RadioBOSS remembers usernames but does not save passwords. For users managing multiple accounts, this can become quite inconvenient.

Would it be possible to enable the IsPasswordAutosaveEnabled feature or implement a similar functionality to allow password saving? This enhancement would greatly improve usability and streamline the login process for many users.

Thank you very much for considering this request.

Thank you for the suggestion, this will be implemented in the next minor update.

Can it be made possible to play audio from the web browser and for it to be part of the broadcast? A presenter may want to play audio from a video clip from a website. Use case - a presenter reacting to a speech from a politician or celebrity interview.

This has some technical complications, as there's no easy way to route the audio from web browser into RadioBOSS. You can try downloading a video that you're interested in and play it in RadioBOSS directly, there are other ways involving setting up virtual audio cards (similar to how calls are received), but I think it's a lot easier to download the video.
