I am looking for a stream hosting provider, but I just want a stream provider for my radio. I just want to know if I can pay manually and stuff I am happy with your company as for the community that's another issue lol I don't hate everyone just the selected few I don't get along with but other than that I am very interested so fare i am happy cause we sorted our issues out. :D :D ;D ;D :D

You can try our http://www.radioboss.fm stream hosting. For the payments, it automatically creates PayPal subscription so you don't have to pay manually each month.

It's possible if you cancel the automatic PayPal subscription. But I don't see a reason: it will be additional work for you to pay manually each month.
For the unlimited bandwidth, it'll be pricey if we leave the listeners unlimited too. I suggest you taking the 500GB plan (Level 2) and you can upgrade later if this is not enough for you.

Well look here http://www.comcities.com/ Guess bandwidth is not too much there, and they are very cheap.

Of course there are cheaper providers, and even free ones. But remember: you get what you pay for. When going with a cheap "unlimited everything" offer, most likely you'll end up having your radio on an overcrowded server (100+ streaming accounts), slow unstable bandwidth and experience downtime on a regular basis. You should read about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overselling - that's why funny plans like "unlimited listeners unlimited bandwidth for $10/month" exist.

Well, ComCities host very popular radio station also voscast was good as well so yeah cheaper don't always mean crappier in some cases yes, but really you think limiting people on bandwidth is good? I would use all that up and would have to pay you, an arm and a leg look at www.comcities.com they have affordable plans and they are not crap look who they host.

If you see a plan like "unlimited everything for $10" it means that their servers are heavily oversold. It's not possible to make profit out of it otherwise.

yea I see that but they have a $30 plan, so they must make a profit some where so yeah Like I said if they are crap. Why do they have big radio stations with them and they are preforming great and sound great and I tested their service and still am very good?

We have lots of people who switched from "unlimited cheap" providers to us. This speaks a lot about "quality" of those services. Don't expect a miracle like real unlimited, high-quality streaming server for $10/month. You get what you pay for.

True but I can use your service bandwidth easy and then what you cut me off for the month or offer me more money for bandwidth or a higher plan?

128 kbps with 1000 listeners for 1 Day (86400 seconds).

1318.36 GB
1350000.00 MB

This would cost em so much money if I was to go you; it would be almost not worth even getting into the radio side of things no joke it don't have to be this expensive bad enough dedicated server companies are chagrining an arm, and a lag might as well get a cheap vps or something. Also ComCities was established in 2002, so they have been around a long time and have a lot of popular radio stations, they host just look at them their site sells itself. How could they be crap? Here are some of their radios they host.

There are more these are just the few to mention so if you get what you pay for I guess these guys really do?

You are broadcasting already - how much bandwidth on average you use each month?
Please read our policy about data transfer limit here: http://v2.radioboss.fm/support/data-transfer/

Do you really have 1000 concurrent users who listen to your radio for the whole day, 24 hours a day? Anyway, stations with this kind of audience never use shared hosting services - they are hosted on a dedicated server(s) instead.

Moreover, if we use your calculations, where you are in need of 1350000.00 MB each day, it means you need 1.35 TB x 30 days = 40 TB/month. ComCities will not let your station stay with them, even if you take their most expensive plan, here's what they have at the bottom of their Plans page:
PLATINUM Packages on average can transfer 5000 GB per month ... if any account hit max limit we will cap account to average bandwidth limit.

This is how things work in hosting. No one will give you real "unlimited" plan for $10. Always read the fine print.

Well, they were just an alternative for Yes Streaming, but now I know they can support opus so yes they can support everything.
