7z routine hangs up

Hi there,
when we try to save complete settings the 7z routine hangs up: process starts but doesn't end. If we kill the process finally in the task manager it says: couldn't save or something like that, error code 1".

What is the problem? Machine ist Win Server 2003.

If the settings folder is large, you should wait for the operation to complete. How long did you wait before you decided that it hang up?

That should be more than enough. How large is your settings folder? (you can open the settings folder from the menu: click Settings->Open Settings folder).

Creating a backup of such a large amount of data can take some time, especially if you save the backup on the same physical drive... I think it could even take more than 15 minutes.
