When you install beta version it's the same as if you have installed an update, so it will keep all the settings and file parameters. Looks like you have installed it to a different folder, so it started as a fresh installation. And additional information storage differs from the version you had installed before - that's why Intros and other info was not loaded.I downloaded the Beta version to see what was new in this version and when i added my songs in there was no intros at all.
So if i was to buy a new version would i have to redo them all again?
If beta version is installed on top of the regular one, no backup is needed. Also, if "Additional information storage" is the same then all track info will be shared among different installations.Your current database must be backed up. Then, restore it to the beta version to retrieve your intros and other information added/modified on RadioBOSS regarding tracks.
I suggest performing a full installation on a new computer, not copy the RadioBOSS folder. If you want to move the configuration, use the Settings > Settings backup/restore command.I'm installing RB into a new computer, will all I need do is run the installer program and copy the RB folder over to the new machine? Anything I'm forgetting?
You can upgrade at any time. Upgrading will also give you 1 year of updates as well.Thank you, will do. I must say, as the beta keys expire tomorrow, I have not had any issues with this beta, running both my regular installation and the beta on the same machine for a side by side comparison, I really enjoy the new perks and tweaks in the new version. I look forward to trying to upgrade my standard installation to the ultimate if I can. Thank you for including me in the beta trial. I love RadioBOSS.
