Cover Artwork

Maybe it was the theme here have already commented,
but unfortunately no solution has been found.

We have the problem that no cover artwork will be sent.

In the Radio boss are all options (Transmit Track graphics) is activated.

Shoutcast Protocol v2 is activated.

The shoutcast adminpannel outputs the following report:

- Stream artwork available [ view ]
- Playing artwork available [ view ]

If I use the links, i can also see the graphics

In our mobile app is only track and artist available, but no cover graphics.

In the Winamp player sees track, artists and the logo of our radio station,
but no cover graphics.

What could be wrong?

This means that RadioBOSS successfully sent artwork to the server.

In our mobile app is only track and artist available, but no cover graphics.

It's a problem with the app - it fails to read artwork from the server. Basically, it needs to download the artwork from the server - the same way you've manually opened it from the admin panel. You should contact app developers about it.

Maybe it's a bug in Winamp. Or there's some setting and you need to enable track artwork display.

Hi,

  So far there is virtually no application that is able to use this feature from the DNAS V2. Even Winamp, owned by Shoutcast does only support the station artwork but not the track artwork. This is planned for the future version of Winamp but this is not a priority of Shoutcast to work on this.

Yes, and this is odd, especially that Winamp doesn't support it either.

Technically, implementing this feature is easy. Merely download a picture from http://server:port/playingart?sid=1 and display it.

Real strange, i find this option already really make sense.
