Dmitry for Sweepers already taken into account the time cutout of silence, or still not been implemented? Thank you
Not yet, sorry - it's planned for the future versions (RadioBOSS 5.5 I think).

Ok, thanks.

He thought about the new feature of running events from the API:
With this a very interesting new possibility opens (
and I think not very difficult to implement) to start local blocks:

From the head it could run an event to make way for local programming API (sending a command to all transmission sites). (This event should be inserted in the playlist so run after finishing the current track)

Each sending center should operate similarly to the DTMF; An event is executed when the command arrives and is within the range of 5 minutes the start time.

It is only cumbersome to be manually add a delay to start playing the events (to offset the buffer of the stream)
Although if used locally by the LineIn input, this is not necessary

But this technique is super transparent to the user (all sound natural).
Nothing DTMF tones or cut songs. :D

A scheduler management API (including starting of events) will be added in the future - currently planned for RadioBOSS 5.5.

I just realized that the time has not fill the account the beginning and end of ad space
Currently it doesn't take into account start/end and gap killer - in one of the future versions it will.
This is next to be added? :)
Otherwise I think it could be implemented by analyzing the points predetermined start and end in each song or advertising.
(I think it would be simpler to add)

For this is required to start and end points are analyzed with the tool medialibrary

there is a bug in the commercial block filling. In my tests, I see nonsense sometimes I see 7 minutes blocks when the set time is 5 minutes. Other times if it works relatively well ..
There are enough clues for a correct fill.
The easiest way to test it is blocks without advertising and the option "generate empty blocks" with sweapers

Another question: Limiting sweapers to 3 may be a meaningless limitation :)

If you use alternate tracks, this is possible. It will insert all the ads that are assigned to the block, regardless of the duration.

As I recall, the problem is with the number of combinations, and the processing required, "select 4+ tracks from N sweepers" is much faster than selecting only 3 tracks. Perhaps we can find a better algorithm... But having more than 3 sweepers at the end of the ad block - how will it sound?

If they are separators it would be a problem. But we also have music in our sweperes folder, for longer fills. There would be no problem there

I didn't use alternate tracks, that's the problem
There could be a bug. It will be addressed in one of the next updates, when AdsScheduler is reworked.

Do you mean it should insert multiple music tracks? In this case, the "sweep" time will be around 10 minutes...

In the source folder there are files of all kinds. It could be 2 songs and 3 separators (haphazard) for example if the time to fill in is long

2 songs + 3 separators will be about 8 minutes. What is the duration of the advert block? It seems to be untypically huge.

Our setup was 6 minutes. (Never an advertising block lasts so long) But it led to the possibility of generating sweapers with music in the repeaters. With the intention that the fill is as perfect as possible.

Out of 6 minutes, most part will be the Ads? In this case, why so many sweepers? Currently it chooses two, so it can select a song and thn a short sweeper, to try to match the duration exactly.

Approximately 2 or 3 minutes of advertising.
The idea of a large fill time is to be able to have many combinations to fill the time. (In order to avoid the effect I previously described: always hear the same thing)

There are some major changes planned for the ads scheduler for the next major update, we'll see how this can be improved.
