RadioBOSS 4.7.7.1 Demo Crashes on Start up

I downloaded RadioBOSS 4.7.7.1 Demo  to try but can not even get it to run.

It crashes on start up..

- Intel Core 2 Quad (Q6600)
- 4 GB ECC RAM
- Nvidia Quadro FX 1700

Windows Vista Business Edition

I tried an old demo version (4. 1) from a friend, it works fine. I was impressed with it works and wanted to try the new features before I make a purchase.  I spent a lot of time trying to see if there was anything I change on my computer but no luck. We didn't get off to a good start here.. ???

Looking forward to a new version that will work..

Hello Casey, that's not your computer's fault. It's an error in the most recent version, which results in program fail to start on some computers (about 1 out of 10).

You can try the previous version, it should work fine: http://dl2.djsoft.net/radioboss_setup_4.7.6.3.exe

RadioBOSS 4.8 with this fixed and several new features will be released soon.

RadioBOSS 4.7.6.3 works OK on my computer.

I also tried RadioBOSS 4.7.7.0, it is also working fine. 
I found this version in the News Archive:  http://dl2.djsoft.net/radioboss_setup_4.7.7.0.exe

Something changed between 4.7.7.0 & 4.7.7.1.

A thought.. It might be a good idea to put a note in the "LATEST NEWS" telling people to try the earlier  version if they have this problem. Some people have no patience when a program does not work and just write it off as being no good.

Do you have any tentative time frame for the release of RadioBOSS 4.8?

It's pretty rare error, so I don't think it's a bug deal.

RadioBOSS 4.8 beta will be released later today.
