Is Mp4 supported

I purchased the upgrade today to allow for the playback of video files.  I cannot seem to play an mp4 file.  Is this file type not supported?  I am sorry if this has already been answered.  I did a search and could not locate the correct information.

Video files playback rely on what codecs you have installed in the system. You can try installing K-Lite mega codec pack and the file will likely start to play: http://codecguide.com

Do I have to download this even if I click on the video file outside of radioboss and it plays ok...just doesn't play through RB?

If it plays outside, then it should play in RB, too. RadioBOSS uses DirectShow codecs, and the other software you use may be using MediaFoundation - it's possible that installing codecs will help.
