playlist problems

WILCOM LABS

New member
HI again. I am using 4.1.0.483. When I use the url live stream,it plays 120 minutes with the 120 appended, that part works great. Scheduled items continue to stack up while the stream plays and play after the stream,25 commercials and jingles in a row! I used to delete these by hand but now it wont let me delete them, gives an error. Worse than that, they stay stuck in the playlist and cant be deleted unless the whole playlist is deleted. Can RadioBOSS delete scheduled tasks if not played in a short adjustable period of time?
Can you fix the ON/OFF icon for the equalizer? give it some color so one can see if it is actually on or off?

The items stack up because you set it up like this. If you use the "repeat every" and "do not delete previous schedule" options, then it's exactly what expected to happen. We'll add an option in the future versions to delete the item from playlist if it's not been played for some period of time.
When you try to delete the items, what error it gives?

The EQ button will be improved in the next update.

Thank you!

Well, the eq button is better now with the red outline to show it is on,thank you!  The playlist doesnt lock up like it used to so I can delete them by hand,I will look forward to a discard timer which will prevent them from stacking up. Maybe I should use a different playlist called by time for the stream? Then how to go back again afterwards?? Another playlist? I still dont understand the playlist generator or see any way it can be useful,is there a possibility of a better explanation of how to use it so I can understand? Thank You!!!

The scheduled items should not be stacked up when using the "Delete previous schedule" option (when next task is launched, all previous scheduled items will be removed from playlist). Also, please describe what you want to achieve, and I'm sure we'll find a solution.

About playlist generator, if you want to generate playlists at specified time, it's easy:
1) Create a music library
2) Start playlist generator and create a template, save it under some name (like "test")
3) In player, add a new task, in the Filename/Command enter: generate test. This will generate a new playlist and that playlist will be inserted to the player's playlist.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
