quiet jingle playback from cart and no longer fading out music on jingle

Hi everyone . The Cart screen is great for jingles but have noticed that since upgrading the jingle and cart  play no longer reduce music volume to get out over the song. It used to fade down the music so that the jingle or voice file in cart could be heard . Now they are muffled by the music. Has the fade controls change and how do I fix this please? I have auto amp on and am wondering if this is causing the problems in the voice files not being prominent?
