Number of streams limitation + DTMF ad management tool

Hi Dmitry,

I would like to open a new thread to discuss RB CPU usage vs number of encoder limitation.

Currently I am limited to 5 encoders otherwise streams are getting discontinued.
This limit is constant whatever I affect 1, 2 or more vCPU to the server.  When adding more CPU the load is shared but I still get the limitation of 5 streams.  Stopping StereoTool plugin allow to add more streams but this is not a solution. A vCPU correspond to affecting one core of a quadri-core Intel i5-2400.
As you mentioned in a previous thread and if my understanding is correct it?s a RB kind of limitation.  RB does not handle multithreading. Is that correct?
Running 5 streams is ok for me so far but as you know I am looking forward having the DTMF ad management tool. In that case it will require more streams in my case:
1 mp3 + 1aac+ for USA
1 mp3 + 1aac+ for Canada
1 mp3 + 1aac+ for France
1 mp3 + 1aac+ for other countries (no ad)
This means 8 streams!
Do you plan to improve that? Is there any workaround?

In the future I am also planning to use the DTMF tool to insert specific short programs such as local wether, ? I really look forward having it

RadioBOSS uses multiple threads for operation. Eg. encoding is performed on different CPU cores as well as several other operations, like sending HTTP requests.

But it's one thread which sends streams... It works fine in most cases, but can cause problems sometimes. There was another topic recently when one slow stream made all other streams and playback slow: http://www.djsoft.net/smf/index.php/topic,3023.0.html
Soon there where streams will besent independent on each other, as well as utilizing multiple cores for this... This should solve the problems.
