#0 means "unlimited" - that is it will play until the stream ends, disconnects, or is interrupted by another track/event. There is a big difference compared to when the duration is specified: it will not reconnect to the disconnected stream with "unlimited" duration.

Thank you, I had forgotten exactly what #0 was meant to do.
In my case it was working simply because another event was happening right at the end of the #0 marked event and took over.

If it disconnects it will auto-reconnect, making several attempts. Only if they all fail, it will move on to the next track.

Yes, that is what it is supposed to do, but the attempts were not enough in reality, didn't work well, were causing problems, with the stream reconnection only often happening at the top of the hour again, thus huge gaps, thus why I moved to finding an alternative way to try and fix what was happening to get it working better and more importantly reliably... and finally settled on the 10min stream renewal regime.
Moving to the way I am doing it now, with the #600, it is working pretty well perfectly.

You can control the number of attempt and delay between them in Settings->General->Advanced configuration.
